I use a highly modified version of fastforwards, which works well, and gets me ranked 1 on all the major search engines for my keywords. :)
Highly modified version makes hack no longer being fastforwards ;)

I guess you won't share this rehack will you? ;)

I have 5,420 links with my slightly customized hack as well as a first place listing on Google for "web design forums" (which is where I get most of my users).

filburt...

Thank you for all of your hacks...

1) I noticed when I was reading your thread on vbulletin.com regarding the hack that amykhar mentioned, that there may have been some unresolved glitches in that hack..... It sounds like a great hack-- I just want to make sure that you feel that the glitches had been resolved? If they have been resolved, could you post the latest code either here or on the VB.com thread? Thank you very much, filburt...

2) Also... I just installed your 3 line session.php hack that you mention in another thread.... How much more of an advantage is installing your vb.com listed hack in addition to the session.php hack? How much would each of these hacks add to the ease of Google listing forum posts?

Thanks, filburt...

Hi guys...

Another question...

I am considering installing 2 different vb archiving scripts: VB Easy Archive (which I already have installed), and vbarchive.

Even though the archive pages display slightly differently through these 2 different archive scripts, would Google and/or other search engines consider our forums as spamming if two pages have similar content?

I am considering also installing vbarchive because I installed VB Easy Archive in late June 2003 (1 1/2 months ago) and Google seemed to stop listing my pages at 109 posts about 3 or 4 weeks ago, and I am wondering if VB Easy Archive limits the way Google indexes all of VB's forum posts.

I would appreciate other's feedback regarding this.

Thanks,

Khashyar
