heh even if they do get a warez vbulletin, they still miss out on a lot, i remember a load of people i know from my forums making their own forums for their sites, all of them using warez vbulletin's and trying to compete with each other, so i decided to actually buy the licence, since it was just about payable, and i had all the support (which was still limited, kinda overrated) and most of them ended up shutting theirs down, i'm not saying hacking is the only reason to go for the licenced route, theres also the problem with updating yuor boards, this was around the time 2.2.1 was out, and most of these people found it very hard to find the upgrade, one of them even being hacked from a bug, something to do with vbscript i think, for me though, paid is the best way to go, plus you won't end up having to go through the crap of moving when you get found out

If one wants to find a pirated or warez copy of a particular software, one can usually find it as the internet is a large place. However, it generally will not be the latest and most stable version, and you never know if someone else has hacked a backdoor script into the software so it can be hacked into later on.

So best to use legitimate software, especially if security is of concern.

how is vbulletin going to handel the copies on kazaa or other sharing software?
