I don't know how I got dragged into this but I do not know for certain that this forum and setup is legal or not. However even if it is, you are not the licensed owner and because of this you are not eligible for support. You will need to get your support from the license holder.

*sighs* i already tried. he gave me the message. it's in here:

Like I said numerous time in the past, I have a valid vBulletin license, and yes, they are expensive.
Also, I asked permission from them (vBulletin) before offering vBulletin hosting, which they said it was ok.
The vBulletin license says that you can have one copy of vBulletin in 1 database. So, I have one copy of vBulletin (that is why it is always /forums/) and all is running from the same database.
Here is their answer :

Thanks for the note - this should be no problem. Provided
that the installation of vBulletin consists of one set of
PHP files reading from a single database, you will be able
to make the changes to the software as specified in your
email.

And that was written by James Limm, the Product Manager of vBulletin.
so you see? i have nothing more to say.

he wouldn't have one as he's basically just been given a forum to make into his own in an ezboard style fashion

correct.

If your forum is legal, then enter your license number and password in the link in Xenon's post to show up as being licensed here and to receive support.

didn't i explain this before, Erwin? this is a hosting forum powered by a single database of Vbulletin. and because of that, i don't have a password.
i give up, nobody belives me (not like no one ever has;)) so you can put this thread to hell in a handbasket for all i care now.
oh, and to awnser the question about the "powered by VB" look at the bottom-left corner, idiots.
