who can say a releasedate when nobody knows when it's finished?

it's in an early beta state, you can see because even the private betatest has startet.
then the public will start and then a time later there will come the Release Candidates.

As i know the public beta is planned in about 3 month...
but you never know which important bugs would be found in the private beta before ..

i think their just taking their sweet time so people's license expire so they can buy another one.

Microsoft can make a operating system that is used on millions of computers in a shorter time .. I didn't know putting some code onto a file takes years LOL.

Pfft, take Apple for example. They make great stuff but they deprecate stuff in months, not even a couple years. Everything needs OS 10.2 now, and it only came out a few months ago, for $130, too.
