Not until it has been out for 6 months and there are at least 200 hacks for it.

from what it looks to me so far, vb3 is a sort of vb2 bloated version.
ok, maybe the global files are cleaner and loading faster. that doesnt mean we cant bring the same technique onto vb2.xx version. :)

I agree, im not upgrading because v2 dose mostly anything i want. With a little hacking I could make it better then the alpha v3. Ill wait and see what v3 dose after it gose final before i kill all my work just to have a new verson.

Well, to be honest, I've never run it on my server. I am relying on what the vB developers like Freddie and Kier tell me, and I don't see why they would be wrong since they wrote both vB2 and vB3 (with the help of the rest of the team of course).

honestly, i abhor what i see ... only exception is the multi-day events on the calendar...i'd like to do a hack for that...

Too early to tell. If my site can run off of it, then I will after a few months. :)

I'm with Anime-loo, the only things that I have wanted from vB3 I've hacked into vB2, it offers me nothing I don't already have and upgrading my style would be a nightmare.

I will of course have vB3 running alongside many vB2's on a dev server ;)

Is anyone else getting slow loading times with showthread.php on vB3?
