besides that PlatniumGame, would you want to fuss over the hassle to import? You need to go upload and install another forum to act as a importer.

It is just tedious to use Invison Board Convert to another board and then vBulletin....

Too much of a headache..

Yup. Too much trouble when it can be done easily if someone would be generous enough to write a script. :bored:

That may be the case, but I'd rather go through that and be able to use vB and keep my members and posts that either lose them or have to use Invision.

I stand corrected. There is a converter from IB to phpBB but I will use this only as a last resort. No one interested in doing a converter?

How odd Platnium. I didn't see it....hmmm I'll probably go over there and take apart their import and make it an Invision Board to VB Import...

No promises though :)

Update: There is no Invision Board importer for IB to phpBB. However there is an importer that allows you to import phpBB to Invision Board.

PlatinumGame 09-16-2002 04:22 PM

ManagerJosh I don't think you looked hard enough.

ManagerJosh 09-16-2002 08:55 PM

Hmmm...didn't see that. I noticed it is still in beta phase though. I looked at the official ones that work that's why...

PlatinumGame 09-16-2002 09:12 PM

I ran a conversion of my old IB and it worked fine.

ManagerJosh 09-17-2002 05:41 PM

Dunno what to say then...but I can certainly say I've already gotten one big bruise by writing one import script...probably won't tackle this one for quite some time...

Is this not an import from IB to phbb? My friend that has phbb sent this to me.
