nice :) you represent you phpbb community and i represent vb.org ;) from they way you're reacting i can just say that vb.org is not comparable to phpbb... if the rest of phpbb share similar attitudes with you well then i personally would never use their software ;) you're just making phpbb look REALLY bad... oh well not using vbulletin is your loss not mine... you should learn to grow up alittle :) regards...

Just barely, I'd say...
phpBB is by far inferior to vB.
templates, styles, access control - the works.

I have used it for a couple of sites where I couldn't afford getting another vB lisence, and I shudder every time I have to go near it.

But that's just my ?.02

If you wanna use phpBB, fine. I don't really care. But coming here to flame our system just cause you can't afford it or got busted running a pirated version is just - umm, how should I put it - the lamest thing since Dr. Pepper.

Its funny how you asked us a question but still you seem to have made you mind-up already, so why bother asking?
You can find a bunch of people around here that will share their experiences and helpout but not if you closed yourself to only YOUR oppinion!

i remember when i installed a phpbb test board :: shivers :: it was so alien compared to the normal vb... but i guess with a change in code comes a change in the way things work... not saying phpbb is bad... im just used to vb :)
