I see what you mean... interesting idea... the problem is that it looks like each thread in the forum display is one query - so if you have 20 threads showing, that is 20 extra queries. Isn't that correct?

actlly now that i look at the image. It doesnt look to bad. Might wanna find a way to fix up the querys.

I wouldn't class this as useless at all, a lot of people might like this if the query issue is resolved.

If I'm not mistaken can't you just put <br>($bbuserinfo[usertitle]) in that template and it has the same title effect.
