I tried this, uploaded and after posting all I got was a blank page, so uploaded the back up again, I might have done it wrong though, Logician can you tell me what code to change please?

Replace

} else {
$goto="forumdisplay.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&forumid=$forumid";

with

} elseif ($visible) {
$goto="search.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=getnew";
} else {
$goto="search.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=getnew";

I tried that but it did not work.... I got a db error, I should have saved it, hmmmm...

Anyone else has any suggestions?

I cant see a reason that it will give you a db error, maybe you should try to (carefully) reapply..
