*cough* &choke& $weez$ ...

Gosh, I don't know. Lets look at this from a different perspective.

1. I am posting in "pre-sales questions" regarding a software package that is sold -- not provided free.

2. As part of my "pre-sales question" -- I need to know if there is anyone out there who is interested in performing the work we need to install and configure this software ... as we don't know how and don't have an interest in learning.

Ok, so lets sum it all up -- in order for us to purchase this software (this is the point - correct -- vbulletin does want to sell its software -- or did I miss that one as well??) ... in order for us to purchase, we need to know if we can hire someone to do the job.

So if advertising to hire someone to install the program is "against the rules" ... what do you suggest we do?

And by the way, I couldn't find any such rules -- not saying they don't exist, but I couldn't find them.

I'm trying to coordinate services so I can make a purchase and move on with our project ... is this thread really bothering you that much? Must be a slow day in the cyberworld ...

You know folks ... One message referred to me as being "not so smart" because we didn't want to install/configure this ourselves; then we have this post suggesting that advertising to hire someone install/configure this post is against the rules.

Maybe someone can enlighten me about all of this if I am so far off-base .... I thought that a professional level messaging software would gladly want to encourage companies to purchase and install its software -- without being required to learn about it ... We purchase software all the time that we don't install or maintain it -- that is not part of our core business.

Still smiling ....

That's a rule at vb.com but I'm not aware that this is a rule here. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not sure why custsrvcrep's request is being treated with such disdain. IMO this really doesn't speak well for this community. :(

I have to agree with Steve here.
Like, what did someone put in everyones breakfast today?

If my day had about 48 hours in it, I would be more than happy to assist.

Thank you all ...

We have purchased a license and hired someone for the install and customization of vb, photopost and a variety of hacks.

Thank you.

Could someone tell me how much that charge for design? I am going to be getting my license sometime today. I am going to need some designs for the forum. I can install the hacks but my designs are crap. My email address is: DarkShogun2003@aol.com
