What happened to all the great features that were requested on certify.com??

One of the steps in install reads:

Quote:

Find 'Forum Home Page (welcometext)'
that ought to be

forumhome_welcometext
Right?

It's nitpicking, indeed, but still...

Creating tables...

ALTER TABLE store_point not successful.

mysql_error()
DROP TABLE prize successful.
CREATE TABLE prize successful.
DROP TABLE prize_exp successful.
CREATE TABLE prize_exp successful.
DROP TABLE temp_point successful.
CREATE TABLE temp_point successful.
DROP TABLE ucode successful.
CREATE TABLE ucode successful.

why ?

I have a question after installing this...
My board has been running for a few months, is there any way to update the points from the begining?

Etcher 07-07-2002 02:03 PM

Also... I am running Photopost on my board, is there a way to add points to users that upload photo's? And comment on them, as well as rate them?

We really need to update the Karma for old posts, replys, threads, etc...

Our members are very confused right now. Think a scrip tcan be made to do this? Is it harder than it seems?

This is a VERY cool hack Certify, thumbs up!!!!

I wanted to ask you what the redeem points is for though?

Massiel 07-14-2002 01:40 AM

I still don't fully understand how members retrieve their prizes. I can get up to the get the key step and what after that? What do you do with the key? Where do you submit it? Where do the prizes go or show?

I went to Certify boards too but there wasn't much about it there... help please!

hmm..

can anyone please give me some examples of karma points settings?

clouds_kid 08-14-2002 10:24 PM

My friends have thier board set at 2 per post and 3 for every topic made. I'm not into giving bonuses for views for the fact that people can just sit their and keep re-freshing if they have no life. A few extra points though for posts is fine.
