Bloody Brilliant!!!

Using in my forums - anything to make it easier for the less web-literate forum users to start a new thread. Most don't need all the advanced features of the "New Thread" page - this, combined with the quick post feature, have almost doubled my daily post count within 24 hours of being installed.

You Rock Neo!! :D

Hi,

I've come across what appears to be a bug :

Does this hack check for forums acting as categories? I'm using on my site at http://www.servicepals.com/forums/index.php to great effect, and I've noticed a definate increase in new threads due to the simplicity of the hack. But I've started seeing some strangeness where people are posting in categories, where the "new thread" box is disabled, but they can post because of the quick thread box.

Is there any way to change the hack to check whether the forum is a proper forum or just a category?

Many thanks,

Ross

I believe it have that alreayd fixed. Just turn off posting in that forum cat.
