Yes, perhaps an option should be given so you are subscribed, but don't receive updates via e-mail. I know SitePoint does this. I would find this very useful. :)

Actually, some of my users have been asking for something like this...

My site is recipes so they asked for something like a "recipe box" where they could keep the ones they really liked without having to either bookmark them, or print them.

Having just enough knowledge to make myself dangerous, I am far from capable of writing anything even remotely close to this, but would definately support it if someone else could....

its the 1st time in my life I'm ok with being a "bandwagon-eer" LOL... long story short, I'm an Islander fan...always have been, it's a family thing, but people assume since I'm female and cant possibly know anything about hockey, I must have jumped on the wagon in the 80's when then won 4 cups in a row, and just stuck around since i didnt know any better.... least I can proudly say I didn't become a Ranjerk fan when then bought (um, I mean "won") a cup in '94...
