I see. To me personaly i don mind that too much. The forum in q is a railway enthusiast board, with pix and following discussions. I dont store any sensitive data, and im not too concerned about any security breeches, so a broken lock here and there is just something we have to accept.

I appreciate your advice, and if you have more references i be glad to hear about it.

It will not change these after upgraded to 4.2.5 but if you are considering to upgrade to this version then should use the version that work with PHP 7, it will improve your forum performance better.
