Yes, you cannot download any of the plugins though, not even I can.

yes but I think they are still there, is there maybe someone i can contact and ask if it would might be possible to get access?
Because it depends on the ability to download mods if i buy a vbulletin license or not.

Or maybe there is someone who safed that stuff back when it was available to download for all users, than it would be cool to get a pm.

You have to private message one of the administrators on this forum. I highly doubt they'll allow you to download the plugins though.

Thanks for the Info i will contact an admin.
Maybe they allow me to access and just want to hide from the public to force updates. :)

For some Reason it is not possible to send them an Email or PM.
Can you send me a PM with a Contact E-Mail, maybe Wayne Luke if he registered since 2002? Would be very cool.

Why are you trying to obtain something with more security holes than government e-mail servers? Enquiring minds want to know.

escape2k 11-30-2017 07:41 PM

Simply because its simple to use and modify, not as bulk as todays systems.
I cannot find something like that today.
Sure it needs a lot of work but the result would it be worth for me.

Just fix security related stuff, make it work with php 7.2 and mysql 5.7 make new responsive templates and seo optimisation and you would have the best forum software available when you ask me.

Personally I think you'd be much better off with vBulletin 3.8.9. You can make it pretty much as light on a server as you want but it is up to date on security patches and mostly complies with modern coding standards.

Unless you have your own server you may not even find a host willing to allow you to install something as outdated as vBulletin 2.x

That's a significant amount of work, you'd be better off writing your own forum software.

I have someone who would make the Responsive Templates for me (Complete Rewritten) so its still alot of work but its possible.

So can you might forward this Thread to the Staff because i can not contact them per Email or PM.
If i would get access i will make it, if not then not because i do not want to write a bunch of hacks that already exist. (It arent just 2 or 3)

Writing my own Forum Software would take a lot more time and i like the vbulletin 2 a lot so why write a new one.
