Running vBulletin 4.2.3 Patch Level 2.

Installed fine, but I'm not seeing the "Restore Auto-Saved Content" button, or is that from another MOD that I don't have installed?

That is something native to vBulletin (unless you have disabled it by setting "Auto-Save Content" to 0).

You will see that button if there is auto-saved content that can be restored, such as when you leave a page without submitting your post.

No, we have Auto-Save Content set to 60 seconds. Makes sense now that I think about it.

I believe that's the default value, and is what we use on several sites. For my screenshot, I purposefully aborted a post so that the button would be there to show that it has been moved to the right to accommodate the "Quote Break" button. :)

Thanks MarkFL, downloaded. It's good to see new mod for vb4 and not just find all obsolete.

Your proposal would be more difficult for members to understand, I think. I don't understand it.

What I did was post a brief announcement of the new feature with a couple of screenshots showing them how to use it, something I find helps with any new feature.

Yes exactly. It saves a lot of time explaining it if the instructions appear in New Posts or Recent Posts.

I usually add the new feature introduction thread to our "Featured Threads" list for at least a few weeks too. :)
