I corrected the placement of vbshout on my forum to place it near the top. Now, it works fine and gets the job done, although any modifications - the vbshout CP does not function. The DbTech guy is working on a fix.

I use ProChatRooms though it isn't mobile friendly. It is ideal for my site.

dbtech vbshout has been working okay. It is really more of a shoutbox than a chat, but it works.

fwiw arrowchat fixed their instructions so the script works at least now...
compared to cometchat it comes across as looking lighter, without loosing functions i want...i like the apps better too on arrow but...
i am a little conflicted between cometchat and arrowchat for one other reason is cometchat allows APE self hosted push but arrowchat makes you push thru others...

if you want professional and dont mind old 90's style looks, go with Volano. or if you want beauty but crappy functionality, i'd recommend the html5 123flashchat
