Since these groups won't show up in who's online, I'm not sure that you need to...
But since I am far from the expert, i'll let Afterburner or one of the more experienced folks confirm that

Great hack! We needed this, especially with vbstats since it has it's own colored user built it kind of... Now add the buddylist one to this and all colored hacks chall be one!! Thanks Again ;)
