there is no setting for this feature, nothing to do, really... it's just a phrase replacement, so when you browse your site, it shows in the header where the phrase is supposed to be... if you have a non-custom head message though!

Could you paste the none custom message here? And where it should be? I'm not sure I haven't changed it, I thought I didn't. I'm sure I modified the default phrase though, but then I checked with the default one as well, and still haven't seen anything.

I have tried it on my test site which dosent.. but thanks for looking in to it, really appreciated..

I don't use DB's Notifications though.
Oh, by the way, I'm quite hesitant on adding anything left of the username again. Could it be possible to make a version that would add that text below the options on top? http://img805.imageshack.us/img805/6...fbdb5a2024.png |

Ah, yeah, but before that, it still doesn't work at all >.<
Could you send me the code that it's supposed to change and rely on? As in, the default thing in the template, I'd compare it with the current one. |
there is no code change... it's a phrase change. if your theme was edited or updated from a vB 3.8x theme, it may even have the wrong phrase in the theme.
search for " welcome_x_link_y " in your header template... |
<li class="welcomelink">{vb:rawphrase welcome_x_link_y, {vb:raw bbuserinfo.username}, {vb:link member, {vb:raw bbuserinfo}}}</li>
This is how it looks like in my header. For phrases themselves, I tried removing the custom phrase, nothing. I tried putting there the default one, also nothing. So I dunno >.< |
