Any ideas if i could get around this?

I am having exactly the same problem. Has he fixed it yet?

Like I said before, its designed vor vBulletin 4.1.5 and higher. When it doesnt work with version below 4.1.5, then it must be because of the mainframe for the search as this addon supports vBulletin standard only.

There could be a version below 4.1.5 but then the search functions have to be nuked or changed in the actual version. I'm not sure if it's worth the work, as the actual version of vBulletin is quite stable and people should update anyhow ;)

Nice - thanks.

Disabled for the moment, after upgrading to vB 4.1.7 I'm getting this error at the top of Who's Online when this is enabled.

With the actual 4.1.7 or the beta? I was coding it on 4.1.7 beta and actually tested it with 4.1.8 beta 1 today; I didnt get any problems by now.

The lines shown in your post are responsible for resolving IPs, exactly its the ajax routine which gets to work when klicking the user IP at 'who is online'. The addon doesnt effect that part at all... ???
