I had this issue on one custom template this is what i did... not sure if this will resolve your issue or not but u can try it if you want.

adminCP -> Styles and templates -> Style manager -> Edit templates (from drop down) -> Header (scroll down)

In here you can see the code for the header. Click on 'Show default', this will open another window. Copy that code from that windows and paste it into the previous window. Click save.

hope this helps.

It looks like it should be there. This is the line:
HTML Code:

<li><a href="usercp.php{vb:raw session.sessionurl_q}">{vb:rawphrase user_control_panel}</a></li>
How about a link to that style and a test login to see the issue?

Not really an admin, just a name. :)
But let me know if you need more access.

Thanks

That might fix it, but not the way i want it to. lol

That will just remove everything i've done & basically revert it back to default. & if i wanted to revert it back to default i would just revert it back to default. ;)

It's there, but the phrase is incorrect. This is what you have:
<li><a href="usercp.php{vb:raw session.sessionurl_q}">{vb:rawphrase control_panel}</a></li>

They look the same to me.. what am i missing.?
Or should i try to copy from the default.?

Lynne 05-18-2011 03:09 PM

one says control_panel, the other says user_control_panel

Put them one after another in a text editor and you'll see.

Awesome.!!
I added "user_" & the settings link came back.!!

Thanks a million Lynne. :D

I wonder is that a mistake they made when they "upgraded" the skin to 4.1.3, or something else.?
Also i have another issue, but i'll start a new thread. :)

Lynne 05-19-2011 03:52 AM

I have no idea why the mistake was made.

IIRC, they were basically the same phrase and they decided to get rid of the duplicate one that wasn't being used.

I have no idea what you are talking about. You should start your own thread explaining your problem fully so that we can help you.
