You are right, It would display www.google.fr (4) if all referrers are from the same url. But they are from different urls.
If you have "Referrer Page Title" disabled, the title is the url host.
So if the referrer is:
http://www.google.com/search?q=test
URL:
http://www.google.com/search?q=test
Title:
www.google.com

If there is another referrer:
http://www.google.com/search?q=demo
URL:
http://www.google.com/search?q=demo
Title:
www.google.com

As the referrer urls are different, they are different referrers, but they have the same title.

But if you enable "Page Title", would be:
