How do I merge or delete tags in mass ?

What I mean is this picked up the word SAN in all the football games and its all alone and large in the cloud, It seems like I was able to merge tags in the past but I forgot were to do it.

also it just picked up a phrase that I had not set the tags that were created were
  • christmas
  • so what does your cracker
  • tree
The title was So what does your "Cracker Christmas Tree Look Like?

Also if I run the cron 500 at a time can it find my archives beyond the last 500 and do them over time or will it always look at the last 500 post ?
