I've installed this mod, and enabled in each forum. But it didn't work

tieuquynhi 12-07-2010 12:09 AM

Your thread has any smiliar threads?

T.Nguyen 12-07-2010 02:40 AM

Yea, I've tried to create a lot of threads which is called Test, Tesst, Testing...... And I didn't see any similar threads under the first post

It automatically does that to bottom of 1st post.

I can't believe people are installing this mod.

haha..

everyone... THIS MOD IS A DEFAULT OPTION in vB!

So basically you are causing a higher server load and unnecessary database access with this mod installed.

Go to vBOption -> Settings. View all settings and can search or scroll down to find "Similar Threads".

It is a DEFAULT feature in vB. You don't need this mod to use it.

This mod will just slow down your forum even more.

You're rite!

WRONG. The option to enable similar threads is located at
vBOption -> Settings -> Message Searching Options

And from there you toggle it on or off via:
Automatic Similar Thread Search

Now what this mod does is adjust the positioning of it? UNDERSTAND?

The positioning of the Similar Threads block is NOT a standard option. Learn what your talking about before you post please, thank you very much.

Description:
Move smiliar thread from end of thread to after first postbit (like vbb.org )

Hello my friend

Can you clarify what the exact place of this option?

For clarification:

This modification is to change the location of similar threads and not for the existence or not
If this option is present in version 4.1 (change the location of Showing similar threads) I hope you clarify exactly where he is , Because I did not find

Thanks in advance bro
