Is there anyway to allow 1 other custom usergroup besides mods and admins to be able to do this?

Yes, instead of adding the code I give in my first post, add this:

Code:

if (ismoderator() or $bbuserinfo['usergroupid']==X) {

  $avatarcustomposts = 0;

}

(change X to the ID of that other group)
