I'm on 3.8.4 and I'm getting this error after what appears to be a smooth installation:
Invalid SQL: SELECT SUM(ABS(credits_saved)) AS sum FROM vbuser; MySQL Error : Unknown column 'credits_saved' in 'field list' Error Number : 1054 |
What page do you get that on? That query does not look familiar...
|
Every page I try and click on gives me this error now.

Hi John, Does this support living avatars, vbArmy, ibarcade and vBbookie?

On vB3.8 all addons for vBCredits 1.x should still work so long as the default currency (credits) remains.
---------------- Thanks to everyone's great feedback and encouragement, we are proud to release vBCredits II Deluxe v1.1.0! Highlights: Improved currency popup with username suggest Faster donations with additional messages One-way fees chargeable on currency events (pro) All events support email or PM alerts See all, your own, or someone else's transactions Ability to process all transactions in realtime Over 15 more fixes, improvements, and optimizations! Coming up in the next version: purchasing credits with PayPal+(pro), and redemption codes! In the interim we will be focusing on integrations with many other addons, now that everyone will be happy with the core. |
If I already have an old 1.4 version of vbCredits installed, would I be able to upgrade to [DBTech] vBCredits II Deluxe without losing information about member credits?
[DBTech] vBCredits II Deluxe and vbCredits 1.4. use the same column in the "user" MySQL table. Thanks. |
It will upgrade the currencies and amounts people had, but not your settings (those have changed radically and need to be reentered). It will also upgrade from any lingering vbcII betas just fine (with your settings too)

Thank you for your reply, Darkwaltz4! May I ask you to elaborate a bit more about what you meant when you said "It will upgrade the currencies and amounts people had"? More specifically, does "upgrade" mean "preserve" in this case or does it mean a recalculation based on the default settings of vBCredits II? I just would like to be 100% positive that the existing member credits will be intact after upgrading vBCredits 1.4 to vBCredits II. Thanks for your help! |
It does not recalculate any totals, they are preserved as what they were, and will be the starting point users have once you set up your new events in vBCredits II Deluxe.
vBookie Actionset now available free here: http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/threa...tionset?p=7001 |
Thanks for your explanations, Darkwaltz4!
