This hack has only an effect for people, who visit your board for the first time, or have no cookie stored for your site.

Existing members usually have a cookie and have saved their preferred language in the board-settings. In this case my hack has no effect, because these settings have a higher priority. In other words: Existing members will not notice any change when you install my hack. (Except they use the "log out" function, then the cookie from the board is removed).
