Got a link to that?

As far as I can see, it's still coming out on the 4th.

4.0.2 unstable was released, install seemed good, haven't seen any major bugs yet, but still going through it. Just installed vbcredits II beta on it and no issues with that either, so far pretty happy with it. Thinking of upgrading our main vbc site to it when 4.0.2 goes gold, but we'll see how that goes.. With vbadvanced cmps 4.0 beta, it's really made me want to use vbulletin 4 now, over the standard cms system. But it's a matter of opion on your script tastes..

Not to piss off vBulletin, but just use microcms its FREE and appears to be doing the same job as the publishing suite.

microCMS is a content management system, not forum software.

I saw microCMS, didn't like the layout as much as VB CMS. Anyways, The CMS is decent right now. Hoping they add functionality to have a background stylevars for it. Right now, whatever is the background of doc_background is the background of CMS.

If the demo is anything to go by the publishing suite is not ready to be used yet. I used it for like 5 minutes and have already found several issues ( http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/proje...?issueid=36342 ).

The issues I found were very simple to find, they were almost the first thing that happened to me when I started using the publishing suite. I am surprised that such obvious issues still exists. I don't know if the demo is updated to the latest version but I guess it is..

I did like some aspects of the cms though.

It seems like the demo is being upgraded now. It is currently unavailable and says it's being upgraded. Maybe the upgrade will fix the issues I mentioned.

I just installed 4.0.6 thinking it would be a great way to create a portal with a forum and store but I couldn't have been more wrong. It seems to lack many basic features still and needs a lot of polish to be anything close to vbadvanced let alone a replacement for other popular open source cms products. I would wait. I have it and I'm installing vbadvanced right now because it just isn't robust enough if you don't know php like the back of you hand.

Given the situation when some of us keep asking if vBulletin is mature enough while others complain about the frequent releases, I find it pretty hard for IB to please all. If you watch the changelogs with each point version of the product, you'll notice the amount of support and care it receives from the development crew.

I myself consider vB to be mature at its current stage, the few projects that I've worked on lately using the vBsuite package seem to be performing very well.

What impresses mostly is the running speed at large amounts of content so if your project consists of a 15-20 pages website, any of the available open-source content management systems would do. But if you have serious plans to make it big, vbulletin is definitely the platform to take a look at.
