Jesus, i must be blind or something, but i cant find the settings for how many thread starts in how many hours, and the setting for which forums that are affected. Please lead a blind man to the right path :D

Plus I'd prefer one that would set a limit on users not whole forums... Basically, I want each user to be able to make a certain number of posts in a forum per hour, not to limit the number of new threads per se, just to limit the number by any individual poster.

Is that what this does? And if it is, can anybody make it work for 4.2.2?

"split()" function use in this plugin which is not available in PHP 7. If anyone use it in PHP 7, replace "split" with "explode". (Thanks to motd2 for this change).

I also found that there is some issue with uninstall procedure. The plugins created by this addon is not removed if addon is uninstall

why not include posts per section ?
in my opinion limit threads is not a good idea but if you add count post per section it is good
