Hi mate.
I installed the plugin, no errors Uploaded the files to the forum/includes/ dir Edited the settings It does not show up in the 'Whats going on' area at all, not even the title shows up. Any ideas? |
I get a Socket error: Connection timed out [110] when I use this and the image to the left seems broken. I have the correct IP and I don't have a TS.ini so I can only assume the 10011 or whatever is the default query port.

Hi pewp,
If you are unsure about the queryport, ask your provider. They usually answer this since many user want to use teamspeak viewer for their servers. Did you use the correct mode? (Yes for TS3, No for TS2 in the Mode option 2nd setting) I assume that the port is incorrect and since there is no answer, the connection times out. Please consult your provider and review your settings. If the problem persists, you can send me a PM with a screenshot of your Plugin's AdminCP-Settings. |
I am the provider. I set the server up on my ubuntu box and I didn't create any ini files for the server. Just installed it and ran the TS server command with no special flags or anything. So, I can only assume the query port is the default.
Just a bit more info. When I telnet into the linux server via 10011 I get a TS3 prompt. So, it appears that is indeed the port it's using. I'm on a TS3 server and it's on TS3 mode. I only uploaded the TS3 status plugin. |
Is the webscript and the teamspeak server on the same machine?
Perhaps you can't access the external ip because of a loopback-restriction? If they are not on the same machine, it is also possible, that the port is not forwarded by a firewall/iptables. |
Nope, I have my web server hosted by bluehost and from what they tell me there are no restrictions in terms of ports or anything like that. The TS server is not behind a firewall and the ubuntu firewall is disabled. I can connect to the serverquery port via other TS3 remote server admin type addons. It just seems to be from my web server to the TS server.

when I telnet to my TS server to 10011 from my web host shell account it times out. So they have to be blocking something.
|
Ok, they opened the port for me, the only issue now is images. It's looking images/misc/teamspeak.gif so I'm assuming I can just add whatever I want there to take care of that.

You can add any image you prefer, i'll upload some default-image later these days :)
