The [img] code parses when used in profile fields. I've just tested it on external images and also with images hosted on my own server.

Thanks for testing, but I just get a link. I want to have displayed the whole image...

Are you using the full web address, including the preceding "http://" ?
I tested using "www.image name.gif" and doing it that way only displays a link. Using the entire web address makes the image display properly.
I tested on vB 4.0.8 PL2 in case that makes any difference.

Yes, I am using http://www.bund-deutscher-clans.de/t...rum_old-48.png. It displays just the link to the image. Is the problem my version of vB? I am using 4.0.7, maybe it's just working with 4.0.8 P2 ...

Tested it under 4.0.8, but it did not show any effect, so it is not the version.

Are there other solutions?
