Speysider, thanks again but how i can tell you that reputation power and repitation points are two different things? I dont wan't to change the way my reputation power is calculated.

Speysider 12-12-2009 05:28 PM

Reputation Power is the number used to determine how much Reputation Points a user can give/take from others. Negative Reputation is given as exactly HALF of the total Rep Power.

Reputation Points is the total number of rep points a user has from others giving and taking.

Unfortunately, you won't get anymore than 1 point for each user when they reach a factor that boosts a users rep power.

See this mod:

It is possible "I approve" button to give choosen or same amount of points.
I want it to give everytime 1 point without installing mods, thats all.

Speysider 12-12-2009 05:49 PM

That is probably coming from a mod that is installed.
You won't be able to replicate that without said mod.

Anyone else, please?

You can't determine that directly, that's what Speysider is telling you. You need to determine it through factors like how many days user is a member, how many posts... At the moment there's no direct way to do that.

Am I wrong?

I undestand i can't make it with vBulletin opitons. I am talking about code edit.

ChopSuey 12-14-2009 09:41 AM

For the thanks, you can set it to any number you want
AdminCP > vB Options > vB Options > Post Thanks

It is not possible to edit the code to make the amount of rep power be the same as rep points.

Rep power is the amount of points that a user can +rep posts.
It is also given as -rep, which is half the total rep power (round if odd number)

I found myself a solution as i want it. A trigger in database.
Thanks to all.
