Too much White? White not use the sylvars and edit it? I agree there is a lot of white but I eliminated mine from so much of that color although I am still using some.

Maybe someone should do a vBulletin 3 template for vB4 ;)

Why go backwards though? If styled right you can do great things with the default style. I have seen some admins styles that make mine look like crap being all fancy and such.

Personally, I think the VB4 default style is a step backwards and has a more dated look than VB3.8x

Pardon me if that sounds rude, its just my opinion. I like the 3.8 style, its not broken and doesn't need fixing.

Yea i completely agree with you. This is one of the reasons i have not upgraded to vBuleltin 4.0 i am trying to figure out how i can get time to remake my theme for 4.0 why my users use 3.8.4 its not easy.

i found that the vb4 skin looks a bit like IPB, the header that is...

PhilG 01-02-2010 09:10 PM

It's definitely possible but will take a heap of time to rewrite all the templates...

My main problem is that one of our main financial supporters is a WebTV user and refuses to change. The VB3 style worked great, but the VB4 pages just plain don't work and are completely unusable for that user.

I'd tell them to just get over it, but they provide a majority of the financial resources for our board. :(

I hope someone can come up with a way to make it work...
