Is it possible to buy the upgrade and not install it immediately? I have two mods that our board simply cannot live without. One is a total custom mod and the other is Psionic's Quick Account Switch.

You can pre-purchase vB4.0 now and install it in 2 years time as your license will still be valid.

Oh good... I just don't want to disrupt my writers by losing a couple of the Mods they depend upon.

Many of the old hooks are there, however, since some of the coding was completely redone in some areas, you may find some hooks removed and new ones in their place.

what about Downloads II and Radio and TV add on?

You can always buy or renew your license and not use vB4.

I also have some most have mods, particularly anti-spam mods.
I also need vBadvanced.

Would you please be so kind as to elaborate on exactly which mod you tried? None of us have any information whatsoever, and I'm sure that we're all plenty worried.

I installed the Template Manager mod in the hopes that will allow me to continue running my forum as seamlessly as possible, and to ensure the number of edits I have to do are minimized to single locations (and centralized), and still, I'm worried.

I don't know that I'm at liberty to say, at this point. However, I can say that if the plugins in the product eval a template, it will need to be modified (templates get evaled differently now). And, if the product has any templates in it, those will have to be modified.
