When I try to import the product, it says:
The following dependencies were not met:

1. This product is not compatible with version 4.4.8 of PHP. (Compatible starting with 5.0.0)

What's going on?

All depends on who you host with, but you may be able to upgrade you php in your host cpanel to latest version. Try calling them first, they should do it for you.
