My first computer was an IBM 8088 Second Generation with two 360 floppy disks (hard drives had not been an option yet), an Okidata Dot Matrix printer and a Green Monitor (Color had not arrived yet either) Computer and printer was $3500 USD in 1981.

Wow, To think what $3500 could buy you, PC wise nowdays, its crazy

A couple of weeks after i bought my amstrad with CGA Monitor :eek: I bought an IBM XT, and that had a Green screen, Bought it for ?250, cos it was going Cheap :eek:

Just like the one in the picture below, Boy did that make some noise

My first was a Sinclair ZX81 with a whopping 1K of memory.
The 16K "Ram Pack" opened up a whole new world of possibilities. :)
