In your templates, you will see a section of templates called Ad Location Templates.

Double click that to expand the template section. That ad spot is called ad_header_logo

Revert that template, or simply delete it's content, or replace with your 468x60 banner, and save.

Note: All that ads are located in these templates:

ad_header_end
ad_header_logo
ad_navbar_below
ad_showthread_firstpost
ad_showthread_firstpost_start

I suggest you simply delete the adsense portion only, that way if you ever run ads, you will still have the style part of the template so it displays best.

no, I don't want to go into the template and delete, or remove it from adminCP

You want him to install it to?

If you want to use CMPS with this you have to manually go in and move some of the images that are in the main folder to the misc folder then update all the templates. I have some dead images because of this....

markbolyard 01-15-2009 02:03 AM

That's true because of path issues, but instead of moving images or having additional copied you could edit the templates with the full paths to the images. I'm not sure of any other way around this as I've used others styles that do the same thing.. come to think of it, most that I've used with vbadvanced have required either a full path, or duplicate images.

KevinL 01-15-2009 02:25 AM

Yeah I just went and put all full paths :)

I thought of that right after my post. Because I used your curves style before I think thats what I did.

Thank you though! It wasn't really a big deal. haha

And usually you only have to do that if you keep your CMPS home page in a different directory then your forum. Otherwise the relative path should usually work.
