You're right about GMT-12 not being inhabited but in my experience, 99% of spam registrations come from GMT+8 (Beijing, Perth, Singapore, Hong Kong).

Are they selecting that at registration? I havent had one get through in so long, I guess Im not up to speed on their latest tactics

I did a DB search and you are 100% correct on this, I am getting the timezone mod and goign to use it...

"useful" doesn't do it any justice at all.
"Awesome"....describes it perfectly.
It removes 99% of bots from my site.
