Increasing registration numbers, of users who don't post, is a waste of database space :)

On my board.... personally I would not use this as we want to reflect actual active members who WANT to be on the forums and participate i.e. Gaming Tournament HOWEVER I'm sure some people would want more to join i.e. social sites etc so like UK said, it's not useless... and your on the Support Staff making posts like that?? Where's your manners or positive attitude eh? I found a way to do something else w/ this info so basically it's informative to say the least no matter what your opinion/comment.

I've expressed the same stance on other modifications in the past. I hate it when administrators try to trick their users into registering. Its a low dirty handed tactic. Just like that stupid IE bar modification that does a similiar thing. Nothing makes me navigate away from a site faster.

If you don't want to use a modification, then don't. But there is no need to turn the release thread of a modification into such a discussion.

Wow, :eek::eek: great result, last week i had a member sign up this way, and then thanked me for it when they saw, all the extra benefits to be had by registering.
