I'm quite an addict myself... only I'm coding custom hacks. :P

So far my forum has 32 products installed and 6 of them are my own work, with 2 being massive. (RPG-based Store and Roleplay Character Manager).

I keep browsing the 3.8 forums to see what's new... in fact I may just do that now. :D

Becareful of adding to many addons. Some of them don't work with each other and they tend to crash a board. Some are also not properly coded and are bad for SEO. Others will actually run up your bandwidth and such. Main thing is to get addons that are helpful to your board in order to make it unique!

Great points, although I don't have to worry about bandwidth so much, considering I'm on a Dedicated Server. ;)

The board crashing part is the reason most of my bigger products are custom coded by me, if something goes wrong I know exactly where and how to fix it.

The additional pages that my own products add are restricted to members only, because Guests really have no use for the Store and Character Manager considering both require posting abilities. The store you need to post to get cash, and the Character Manager stuff is only shown in the Roleplaying Forums (where the post author info is changed to show Character Info instead of the poster).

The next thread I predict will be created is "My host shut me off, to many resources help!!!" type :D

That's why I love how lucky I got with my hosting. My friend owns a dedicated server and because we work on a lot of projects together, he hosts me for free on his dedi, which is barely dented resource-wise.

Alright getting back to the topic of this thread. So when's the next good mod coming out? I don't know what to do with myself now. LOL

Also, I want everyone to know that I actually downlanded an image to my server. I'm making progress... so I'm going hunting for some more mods...:D
