Its ru not eu and the english one is fr - I assume it signifies "Fractalizer". :)

Adding the Album Pictures awaiting moderation would be really great.

There are five groups, not two. If you will have all zeros displayed, Notifications area will be spammed. I am going to add some more items like users, awaiting moderation for example and showing zeros will spam notifications even more.

For some reason, they all don't show up in "Your Notifications" unless the number is greater than 0.
For example, when I click "Your Notifications" I see "Private Messages - 0", "Unread Visitor Messages - 0", etc. however there is not "Moderated Threads", etc.
Is this normal behavior?
