I also hope it can be fixed, because it's incredibly annoying when the score cannot be saved or commented on.

The fix for this is on the roadmap for next release v2.6.8+ :)

Well done guys for pinning this one down and hopefully fixing it Mr Z. I've had this happening but never realised it was related to decimal scores.
