All browsers are going to have to move up to the Web 2.0 standard sooner or later. Once again, IE leads the charge. ;)

Web 2.0 is not a standard...

XHTML is a standard, CSS is a standard, HTTP is a standard ... but "Web 2.0" ist just a buzzword.

(And IE is crap, but that's another issue ;-))

So YOU say... ;)

absolutely, and especially with the new beta/rc 3.0 releases ... it rocks, more faster, more useful, more and more ... ;)

edit: if you want try @ http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html also you can try the nightly releases ... but this is another issue

No it won't, Andreas is correct. Web 2.0 is a buzzword created by Tim O'Reilly mainly in response to Tim Berners Lee's Semantic Web. You can use web standards to achieve "Web 2.0."

nexialys 05-13-2008 01:52 PM

actually Web 2.0 is a buzzword... "Internet 2" at the opposite is a different thing. and it may lead to something more standard than the Web 2.0 thingy...

if people ask you to make their site Web 2.0 compliant, the only thing you need is to add a BIG RED REGISTER BUTTON
