Sorry about that; installed. My vBA index/home page resides outside the forums folder. Thanks.

Do the links show up at all in the navbar when you are located on the vBA home page?

Can you post a screenshot of it when in the forums, and one when on vBA home page please? (obviously when the Search menu is selected)

Thanks,

Mosh.

My 'search forums' drop down look just like your attached image. The same thing also happens when clicking on the 'unanswered threads' link from your other MOD.

Mosh, this was the message I received from the original user who requested this:

Ok dude, first of all, you're awesome. You've worked hard to get this feature (mostly just for me) and I appreciate your desire to please the forum users. But I'm sorry to inform that as close as you are (and verrrry close!), it's not exactly what I was wanting. You provided a way for me to show you exactly what I want though, so it was a definite step in the very right direction. Ok, click the Search drop-down and click "Advanced Search". On the right side, it says "Search by Username" and there's a space underneath to type in a username. Type in your username. After you've typed in odeezie, go to the bottom and click "Search Now". The page that loads next is exactly what I have been talking about. It was hard to explain but at least now you can see a live version of it. It has a list of every thread that only you have posted in. The threads that have new posts in them are bold. This way, I am able to see which threads I've posted in that have new posts and I can go straight to them without having to click on the forum, then find the thread. In reality, it only saves a few clicks and a few seconds but I spend hours and hours on the computer and have found little things that make everything easier.. this being one of them lol. This feature really helps when I've been gone for a few days/weeks and the thread may be buried somewhere in the forum where it's hard to find. Instead of eventually forgetting about the thread, I go to this page and it reminds me that I had posted there and allows me to see posts that I might have otherwise not ever seen.
Does that make any sense and is that search really different from the ones you have provided? If it is, is there anyway I can make that a clickable button with a little bit of code change? If its not to difficult can you explain it to me and I will take a stab at it...i think you have already done enough to help out with my requests.

Thanks!

Brad

Hey Mosh. I also have the vBulletin Blog and Project Tools on my board and had the same problems with the links for these MODS opening up. After searching the vBAdvanced board, I came across the solution of adding "{$vbulletin->options[bburl]}/" before the blog.php and pt.php. The end result (for the blog) looks like:

PHP Code:

<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="{$vbulletin->options[bburl]}/blog.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[blogs]</a></td

I tried adding the same to the xml files of your MODS, but it did not work. Maybe this gives you a starting point on how to come up with a fix for my problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Install v3.7.002, that should sort your vBAdvanced issue :)

It is exactly what my hack does (apart from being able to enter different usernames), so will not be altering it at all, apart from maybe adding usergroup permissions if people want to limited to certain premium groups etc,.
