you could also purchase the proffesional upgrade system from vBulletin.com. It is like 80 dollars i think. you pay and then vBulletin proffessionals from the vbulletin team install all of the updates for you for like an entire year. I think it is either 80 dollars or 50 dollars.

The Professional Upgrade is US$135.00. They only upgrade your vBulletin installation once, not for the period of the whole year. Also, I believe they will not upgrade your board to a Beta/RC release.

Why don't you just leave your board at 3.6.8? It's no big deal if you do. And then you can learn to set up a test board and practice doing an upgrade yourself.

It would be difficult for me to even think about doing an upgrade to someone else's live board. I know my board. I know my hacks. When I encounter problems, I feel comfortable playing around with things.
