I started developing the site in my sig with 3.7 beta 5. I went live with it with beta 6, and upgraded to RC1 yesterday. Not a single problem have I encountered. If you're starting a new board from scratch, you'd be best served by going with 3.7, in my opinion, especially if you plan on doing a lot of template modifications. It will save you some work down the road.

nice site you got there as well m8

vBulletin.com is running it because it is their product. And it is central for testing on a large scale environment. :) vBulletin.org has several reasons.

I feel bad for Princeton when they do actually upgrade. The mods should start a beer fund for him now. ;)

Na, the reason why vB.org does not use vB 3.7 is because they have done "mass hacks" here to the site. So it's best for them to wait for gold version before updating. Otherwise they could be constantly making changes with each RC release. leading up to Gold

The only changes we should see now until Gold are bug fixes. That wouldn't really change any modifications.

I'm waiting until a few of the modifications I use are either clearly going to be updated or abandoned/replaced. Event Forums & RSVPs are just too necessary to my site atm ;) Although I reckon the new WoWevents calendar would do for the raiders.
