If you want the vista fonts, then download the PowerPoint Viewer from microsoft.

YES I KNOW you had a permissions error when you ran it, so here is what you do. Get UniExtract. Install it, make sure you allow the Extract Here option. Then after install it right click your powerpointviewer.exe and use "UniExtract Here" and you will get the cab. You should find your fonts in ppviewer.cab

there is nothing illegal about this, because anyone downloading the powerpoint viewer must have valid windows, and also, on installing powerpoint.exe those files all get extracted to temp dir anyway.

I have vista, and I have tested this for you, and it works as I have described.
