Wow! This is very nice. I do have a question, however. I allow large avatars at my site (150px width x 200px height). This is problematic for the iPhone pixel limitations. An image re-sizer routine for avatars would be ideal. Could this be integrated?

Dr. Bantham... I've decided not to show avatars in the 'Showthread' template... This will help to load faster (a thread page with 10 replyies -and a lot of text- is about only 30kb of html)... However, you can see the avatars in the Profile Page of each user...
ALL images on ALL pages of your forum -while using this template- are resized (in fact is a "max-width" limited to 235px) with CSS, so there's no problem with that... If an image is under 235px width, will remain as it is; if it is larger than 235px -in widht, height doesn't matter- it will be downsized to 235. You can check it here: First enter the Theme: http://www.elforro.com/index.php?styleid=15 Then go to this thread with photos: http://www.elforro.com/galeria-de-tr...a-barbara.html |

The postbit I've used is the postbit legacy... The only thing is that it only displays the Username... It doesn't show the avatar, or the Joindate, etc... You can see that the showthread is like this ( https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/attachmen...6&d=1204518212 ):
------------------- Date of the post Username Post ------------------- With 3 rows... I've decided not to show the avatars because with an average of 50kb per avatar, it's a lot of KBs to download and I prefer to keep the threads as clean as possible, in order to guarantee a better experience while reading the posts content... Anyway, you can change the template and add the Avatar to see how it looks... |
Fantastic skin! Thanks for releasing this!

This is a great style, ElForro!
One suggestion for people who use the Legacy postbit is to copy entire contents of the postbit template and overwrite the postbit_legacy template within this style. |
I'm using this style with the Mobile Device Detection mod and it works great.
There are some localization issues with the template modifications. I noticed that some of the labels are in Spanish, so it appears they have been hardcoded. Not a big deal to change, but something to be aware of. |
I am thoroughly enjoying this style. I do have two issues, however:
The first is the fact that I use vBadvanced CMPS as my index. Even though I use a two column approach in lieu of three, it still does not conform well in this environment. Could this style be modified to better accommodate vBa forums? If not, is there a manner by which the page could skip the vBa portal page and go to the forum index? Could the Mobile Device Style Assignment mod allow for this? The second concern I have is that there is no menu system. The functionality appears to be limited to forums, private messaging and member pages. While I understand that other content might not be ideal for this environment, the need for a menu system of some nature is important to me. This would be a wonderful addition to this style. Again, thanks for the great work thus far! |
There are a lot of options that are not available yet in this Skin. That is because its supposed to be a light skin, just for read and reply threads in the forum... I think that if you want to change some settings to your forum account, you can do it while using a PC and while using an iPhone just read, search or reply messages...
However, if you know how to edit the templates you need, there is no problem in doing it... About the vBadvanced, I don't know how it would work because I don't use it, and I can't offer too much support for other addons that I don't use. |

I do have another issue which just came to mind. Is the lack of vBulletin acknowledgment in the footer a violation of our Terms of Service? |
