Basically I hope that Jelsoft will release a image gallery as an official addon. Something that is integrated really well into vbulletin.

Andrews Links and Download Manager? What are those?
Is that one guy that has developed other mods or something?
How is that relevant to a gallery?

This started as a links and downloads manager, but is now manager for all sorts of files, including streaming video, radio, images, documents, audio and lots more. It can be used as a image gallery, but functions are pretty basic. Still it's promising and Andrews support is amazing. Especially considering LDM's a free add on.

Link me please.
Sounds good.
I'd like to take a look.
Im still not convinced that any gallery he/she makes is going to be anywhere CLOSE to something as good as deviantart's

Vbulletin now has the built in gallery semi. With a couple of database queries u could easily make the front page similiar the only thing you lose is the ability to have people post into the same gallery.

oOh yeah?
Sounds cool, but it's still not what a lot of people are looking for.
Sounds like VB is doing a lot with the new 3.70

I want something like Photopost that allows you to host your files off Amazons S3. I currently own 2x Photopost Pro, and one vBGallery which I bought before they bought them from vBAdvanced. Which was very sad because I went to vBAdvanced's vBGallery after being consistently disappointed with Photopost. I dont think there are any better solutions out there, Id buy a Jelsoft solutions in a heartbeat.

I hear u man.
It's like the ONLY option, but it disappoints.
I mean, if there was something else i'd use it.

Yeah I am using photopost pro, it has some great features, but it is a shame it is not fully built into vbulletin but it does the job well tho.

its such a non-gallery though.
it's like visitors have to LEARN how to use it like a windows software app before they can really use it.
The functions take to much getting used to.
If there was a really nice SIMPLE gallery out there, again LIKE deviantart it'd be great.
fully featured yet easy and ACTS like a gallery rather than some software app or forum.

Deviantart's gallery is very good. I also think the flash uploader putfile and facebook uses is very good. But such solutions are grossly expensive.
