They look fantastic! Maybe a little bit smaller?

Resizing them would involve a great deal of work because the emoticons (on average consist of atleast 20+ layers) and resizing each emoticon would involve in tweaking the blending modes (within the emoticons) which would involve too much of my time. I did want to re-size them and scale the base down a little (well, the height, not the width) and I may very well do but resizing them will cut the release date of these further.

Thanks for the suggestion and I'll take a look and see what corners I can cut without compromising quality and the timeline for this project. :)

The mood manager icons are currently in development, and new moods are being created as we speak (well, not right now because I'm replying to you). As soon as I've completed the pack, I will post them in the vbulletin.org image database.

Don't ask when they will be completed as this is a mammoth task (even for my standards) so I'm not giving a completion date as yet. :)

On Mac, we have GraphicConverter, which do the job automatically for animated .gif ... did you try it ?!

most of the time, when the job is not proper the first time, you do it until the image is great, 2 or 3 times... i've done it for some professional works already... easier than resizing each layers...

I couldn't do that, even if I wanted to no matter how tempting it is (because I'm lazy) but I prefer tweaking/modifying each layer to retain the visual quality. Example: Blending mode tweaking, masking and any other individual layer tweaking. I'd really be cutting corners with the method your suggesting and retaining the visual quality would be thrown out of the window which is something (btw: I am really tempted to do) but for consistencies sake, I'm not willing to undertake no matter how tempting and time saving this suggestion would be. :)

Maybe in about 6 months when I stop caring but thanks for the suggestion anyway. I do try to cut corners but without compromising visual quality.
